Northern Samos is a hiker’s paradise of sweeping valleys, vineyards and shady forests. You’ll join a guided walk from the pretty hillside village of Vourliotes across the River Kakorema to the picturesque area of Platanakia – a full day’s hillside walking at its very best.

From Vourliotes, you’ll take the path across the valley, winding its way between aromatic vineyards and eventually crossing the bubbling River Kakorema. Afterwards, your guide will lead you onto the path to the mountainside village of Manolates through a cool shady forest.

Finally, perch yourself in the rest area and take some rest and shade under the forest’s protective canopy. Or, if you’ve energy still to burn, explore the nature trails of the fertile forest.
